1. SKIN PREP

Beautiful makeup always starts with beautiful skin.

I’ve recently discovered Tatcha Akari Gold Massager and I’m obsessed with it. I use it to massage skin and help de-puff jet-lagged or fatigue looking skin. My clients love it. It’s like a mini facial massage and relaxes them instantly.

I always like to do a moisture mask such as SK-11 Facial Treatment Mask to get my clients red carpet ready. It takes a few extra minutes but makes all the difference. I always use La Mer Cream and Lancer The Method “Nourish” Cream before makeup. Both creams work well under makeup, never feel greasy and offer loads of hydration. Don’t forget to moisturize the neck and chest.them instantly.

ReVive makes my favorite eye creams and I always prep skin with a lightweight hydrating eye serum. Concealer glides on effortlessly, looks smooth and never settles in fine lines if I prep with ReVive Eye Serum.

2. GLOWING SKIN – HEAD TO TOE

Choosing the right foundation formula is important for each client.

I try to create flawless, healthy, radiant looking skin that enhances beauty from within. I like to work with Stila Aqua Glow Serum Foundation and Concealer when I’m doing red carpet makeup. The texture is lightweight and totally covers any imperfections or unevenness on the skin. It is a hydrating formula so it gives radiance without too much shine. Add sheen and highlight for added glamour. I love the Stila Kitten All Over Shimmer Liquid. I apply it directly over the foundation on cheekbones and anywhere else I want to brighten up. It creates a healthy glow and has a sheen shine finish that’s not glittery or too obvious. I often will mix equal parts of over shimmer liquid with my favorite body lotion and apply all over, especially on shoulders and legs. It’s so luxe and makes your skin look great.

3. BEAUTIFUL BROWS

Brows frame the entire face & always make you appear more youthful.

The Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Brow Color Pens are my secret beauty weapon. They are so easy to use and look very natural, allowing me to build the brow in the most flattering shape or style. Bold brows are trending for good reason - I like brows to look full yet remain soft. There has to be a healthy natural look to brows so you never end up looking dated or overdone.

4. LOADS OF LASHES

I love mascara - long bold lashes make your eyes pop.

Right now I’m really into Stila Huge Extreme Lash Mascara. It’s the lushest luxe formula and gives everyone full looking gorgeous long lashes - without the fuss of false ones. I end up giving the tube away to my clients because they instantly fall in love with how their lashes look. I like to paint the mascara on the lower lashes with a small flat liner brush or a small fan mascara brush. It adds the perfect amount of mascara and keeps it dark and intense right at the root. You can paint a whisper of mascara onto the lower lashes and complete your eye makeup in a flash.

5. BOLD POWER POUT

Red carpet glamour always calls for a statement lip.

Ricco, Chianti and Amore by Stila are so on trend. They’re matte and extremely long wearing so you don’t have to worry about touch ups. A deep berry lip is so beautiful when paired with a clean cat eye and lots of lashes. This is truly a classic and timeless beauty look to me.
